Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta today urged Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung to ask the Delhi government not to put pressure on officers, a day after a senior official alleged misbehaviour by the Chief Minister.
Gupta's appeal comes a day after a senior bureaucrat, K R Meena, alleged that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was "rude" to him in a recent meeting at the CM's official residence.
"The CM's misbehaviour was witnessed recently when CMD of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) K R Meena was humiliated by Kejriwal in the presence of Delhi Industry Minister Satyendar Jain at Kejriwal's house," the BJP leader said in a statement.
He urged Jung to take note of the incident and immediately intervene in the matter so that respect and dignity could be restored to the bureaucrat as well as the system.
