Auto-lifter arrested

An alleged auto-lifter has been arrested and three stolen motorcycles recovered from his possession.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the Crime branch of Delhi police conducted a raid near Nand Nagri bus depot and apprehended Rahisuddin alias Toni (29) yesterday.

Three stolen motorcycles and a mobile phone were seized from his possession, police said today.

He initially worked as a bus conductor but took to crime to earn easy money. He has been declared a proclaimed offender by the court, police said.
