Singer Avril Lavigne has revealed that she is experiencing some health issues.
During a twitter exchange with her fans, the 30-year-old 'Complicated hitmaker asked a fan to "keep me in your prayers", reported Ace Showbiz.
The fan asked Lavigne, "Hey Av! It' been like two years since you completed your last album. Are you in the studio right now or working for something?
The 'Girlfriend' singer then responded, "I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them no why I've been absent. I'm torn as I'm quite private.... I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers."
A representative for Lavigne has confirmed that the exchange is authentic although the health issue could not be disclosed.
