Bajaj Auto motorcycle sales down 6% in February

Auto maker Bajaj Auto today reported a 6% decline in motorcycle sales at 2,73,323 units in February.

The company had sold 2,91,297 bikes in February last year, Bajaj Auto Ltd said in a release here.

Overall sales, including commercial vehicles, fell to 3,13,294 vehicles in February from 3,32,387 units sold a year ago, the company said.

Exports rose 5% to 1,42,009 units from 1,35,149 vehicles, Bajaj Auto said.
