Sugar firm Balrampur Chini Mills today reported an over two-fold jump in net profit at Rs 175.20 crore for the quarter ended December 2016.
Its net profit stood at Rs 87.19 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Total income rose to Rs 999 crore in the third quarter of the 2016-17 fiscal from Rs 884.55 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, the Kolkata-based firm said.
