Bangladeshi women's football team media manager Ahsan Ahmed alleged that an Indian South Asian Games security official misbehaved him on the sidelines of their 2-0 win over Maldives here today.

Ahmed alleged that while he was walking towards the warm -up area, an official threatened him to go out of the stadium and misbehaved him pointing fingers at him.

"He (SAG Official) used swear words and threatened to throw me out of the stadium. I am also an AFC match commissioner and well aware of the rules of the game. I asked him to cool down but he refused to budge. His tone was very rude," Ahmed told reporters at the news conference as he also lodged a complaint with the Chef-de-Mission of Bangladesh Ashikur Rahman Miku.

Incidentally, Ahmed did not have the accreditation card as the organisers had made a temporary arrangement for him, Bangladesh Olympic Association member Munir Hasan told PTI.

"His accreditation card is yet to arrive but despite that he was allowed to get in," he said.

However the issue was resolved then and there after the security official apologised and was later removed from the venue, Munir said.

"We called the venue incharge who then took ready action and removed the security official who also apologised. So, there was no need of an official complaint," Munir said.
