Baratheon wins Guindy Gold Cup

Baratheon, trained by R Foley, won the Guindy Gold Cup, the prime event of the races here today.

The winner, a property of Dr M A M Ramaswamy Chettiar of Chettinad Charitable Trust, was ridden by G Ross.

Foley and co-trainers B Suresh and Iqbal saddled two winners each while jockey Babul rode two winners.

Two favourites obliged punters in a card of seven events.
