Bengaluru youth drowns in river

A 20-year-old youth from Bengaluru today drowned in the Veeracholan river here while search is on for a 16-year-old boy who was washed away, police said.

The boy hailed from Hosur and both had come here to visit the local temples.

They had gone to take bath in the river when the incident occurred, police said, adding, one body was recovered.
