Comedienne Betty White has been roped in to guest star in the Season 11 of procedural series, "Bones."
The 93-year-old actress is set to play the Jeffersonian's newest squintern, Dr Beth Mayer, who is approached to consult on a murder linked to fantasy football.
The "Hot in Cleveland" star announced the news on Twitter.

"Wanted to let you know first that I will be joining the @BONESonFOX family for an upcoming episode this fall! #Bones," she wrote.
Her character is described as sharp, experienced, fabulous and an expert of anthropology and fantasy football with more than half a century of experience under her belt.
"Bones" season 11 will premier on FOX in October, with new showrunners John Collier and Michael Peterson replacing Stephen Nathan.
