Bhattacharya takes oath as Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court

Governor Dr Kamla administered him the oath of office at a ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar.

Bhattacharya had been officiating as the acting Chief Justice for some time.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Assembly Speaker Ganpat Vasava and Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil, among others.
