Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Sunil Kumar was today promoted to Director General rank along with other senior IPS officers.
Sunil Kumar who is a 1987 batch IPS officer and has been promoted to DG rank, a notification of the Home department said.
Inspector General of Police (Training) A K Ambedkar has been promoted as ADG (Additional Director General of Police), the notification said.
Three 1999 batch IPS of DIG rank - Upendra Kumar Sinha, Satish Kumar and Gopal Prasad - have been promoted to IG rank, it said.
While 2003 batch IPS Vikash Vaibhav, Rajesh Kumar and Anil Kumar Singh have been made DIG, according to the Home department notification.
