Bill Clinton congratulates Eva Longoria on Twitter

Former US president Bill Clinton has congratulated actress Eva Longoria on completing her Master's degree at California State University.

The 38-year-old actress recently graduated in Chicano studies and had posted pictures from her graduation day on Twitter, reported E! Online.

She received a congratulatory tweet from Clinton that read, "Thanks for inspiring others to never stop learning and for your support of @ClintonGlobal. Congrats on your degree (sic)."

The actress responded to Clinton's tweet and said, "Thank you Mr President."

She had been working on her degree since her 'Desperate Housewives' days.
