Billing complaints to be redressed within 24 hrs in Haryana

All the complaints of electricity consumers in Haryana relating to bills will be redressed within 24 hours.

It was stated by Anurag Agarwal Managing Director of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam here today.

He said all officers of ranks of superintending engineer, executive engineer and sub divisional officer engaged in the operations wing of the Discoms will remain present in their offices from 9 am to 12 noon daily on working days.

The chief engineers have also been directed to remain present in their offices on every Monday especially to attend the complaints of consumers relating to bills.
 

He further stated that the facility of toll free number has been made available to electricity consumers of the state for registering their complaints round the clock.
