Billy Bob Thornton secretly weds longtime girlfriend

Actor Billy Bob Thornton has secretly married his longtime girlfriend Connie Angland last year.

The 59-year-old 'Bad Santa' star exchanged vows with Angland, his girlfriend of over 12 years, on October 22 last year, reported People magazine.

A representative for Thornton confirmed the news saying, "(They wed) at their home in Los Angeles during a private ceremony before family."

The couple is parents to daughter Bella, 10.

Angland, 49, is Thornton's sixth wife - they began dating shortly after the actor finalised his divorce from Angelina Jolie in 2003.

He also has three other children from his earlier marriages.
