I feel my mother all the time: Angelina Jolie

Opening up about her mother Marcheline Bertrand who died in 2007 due ot ovarian cancer, actress Angelina Jolie said she admirered her "softness and strength".

Jolie, 39, who recently married her longtime partner Brad Pitt, says her mother continues to influence and inspire her even today.

"She was very soft but could move mountains for her kids. That's something I always admire in women: that mix of softness and strength," the actress told Marie Claire.

Jolie said her mother inspired her to get involved with humanitarian work from a young age.

"She always tried to understand the complexity of the world. She had a great heart, which was sensitive to the world's violence," Jolie said.
