BJP announces Warangal LS candidate

BJP today announced Dr Pagidipati Devaiah as its candidate for the Warangal (SC) Lok Sabha constituency by-poll in Telangana, which is scheduled on November 21.

A BJP press release here said, party president Amit Shah has approved the recommendation of Telangana's state election committee regarding the bye-election to the Warangal (SC) Parliament Constituency.

The bye-election was necessitated by the resignation of Kadiam Srihari (TRS) who became the deputy Chief Minister of Telangana.

Srihari resigned as MP from Warangal in June this year.
