Crying foul over denial of permission to hold road show its Gurgaon candidate Rao Inderjit Singh in Firozpur Jhirka area, BJP has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against the concerned district officials.

In the complaint sent by the party's Mewat district office, it said that a road show by its candidate Singh was planned today for which permission was sought from the single window office in Nuh yesterday.

The authorities suggested to change the schedule since a programme of the state Chief Minister was also planned on the same day.

The party alleged that it again approached the authorities to get the permission for the road show after changing the programme as per their suggestion, but were again denied permission.

Claiming that the incident raised a question mark over the impartiality of the Mewat administration, BJP in its complaint demanded legal action against the concerned officials.
