BJP claims Kejriwal breached poll code in Goa

Election authorities in Tuesday ordered an inquiry into a complaint filed by the BJP that violated the code of conduct by inciting religious sentiments.

Kejriwal, star of the (AAP), had addressed a campaign rally at Margao on April 13.

Keshav Prabhu, who filed the complaint earlier Tuesday, relied on newspaper reports to allege that Kejriwal tried to create "communal disharmony".

The complaint cited quoting Kejriwal saying that "mob lynchings taking place in the county under the guise of cattle theft is actually organised murder".

Kejriwal tried to spread fear among Christians and Muslims by remarking that they "will be driven into the sea" after being declared infiltrators, Prabhu said.
