Law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh has become worse during Samajwadi Party regime, BJP leader Vinit Agarwal Sharada said in a letter to the governor today and asked him to dismiss the Akhilesh government.

In a letter to Governor Ram Naik, the convener of Uttar Pradesh BJP Business Cell said, "It has been more than three and half years since SP government came to power in the state. During this time law and order situation has gone worse."

The BJP leader also said that along with increase in robbery, abduction and vandalism, there has been a noticeable rise in the number of communal conflicts in the state.

The SP government has to be dismissed to prevent the situation from deteriorating further, he said in the letter.

Sharada alleged that criminals have been given free hand while government representatives and police are working in collusion contributing to corruption forcing the industries to move out of the state.

In his letter, Sharada also said that at a time when many districts of UP have been declared draught-hit, crores of rupees are being spent on SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's birthday.
