"The BJP is a national party ... It has never been on backfoot or will it ever be forced back," Health minister Ashwani Chaube told reporters here when asked whether the BJP had meekly surrendered to the JD(U) following the chief minister's remarks.
Asked to comment on Kumar's remark that his party was allied with the BJP and not the RSS, Chaube said that he was proud of being a member of the Sangh.
"I and my family members have ingrained values of the RSS for life," Chaube said but refused to comment on the chief minister's remarks.
