BJP's youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha today staged silent demonstrations across the city to protest against the recent power tariff hike by the Delhi goverment.
The members of Delhi unit of BJYM carried placards across the city in a bid to create awareness among people and highlight the "anti-people" attitude of the Delhi government and the power discoms.
The outfit's activists protested at various traffic signals, metro stations, bus stands and all other prominent places across the length and breadth of the national capital.

They took out the drive as a prelude to the massive 'Bijli Andolan' rally at Ramlila Grounds by Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel scheduled for August 11, an official statement said here.
The electricity generation and distribution in Delhi have been mismanaged in the city for over past 15 years, during which period the power tariff has seen a hike of 70 per cent, the statement said.
"While the discoms have been found fudging their accounts, the Delhi government has supported them," it added.
