Unruly scenes were witnessed at a PCC meeting held here today where workers engaged in a blame game over the party's debacle in the recently concluded Assembly elections in the state.
During the meeting, presided by state PCC chief Dr Chandrabhan, to mark the party foundation day, two local leaders got involved into a commotion over the alleged irregularities in ticket distribution, absence of proper coordinator between party workers during the elections, sources said.
Local leader Rizwan stressed these reasons for the party's dismal show at the Assembly elections and was opposed by fellow party worker Sushil Sharma and others leading to a commotion, they said.
Senior PCC leaders including Chandrabhan intervened and separated them, sources said, adding, that the meeting was called off after the incident.
