Bodies of missing man, girlfriend found in well

The bodies of a man and his lover, who were missing since December 23, were today recovered from a well in Sirsaganj area here, police said.

Ravi (21), a student of a local inter college, was in a relationship with an 18-year-old girl from the same Pura village. They had gone missing from their homes on Friday, police said.

The next day their families had lodged a complaint.

This morning their bodies were recovered from the well of their village, police said, adding they have been sent for postmortem.

The father of the girl has been taken into custody on suspicion of his role in their death and interrogations were underway, police added.
