Body of a 17-year-old boy, who drowned during Ganesh immersion two days ago, was found near a beach in suburban Malad today.
The deceased has been identified as Rohit Shah.
He drowned in the sea at Madh beach in suburban Malad on Tuesday, a senior police official said today.
His body was found near the beach at around 12 PM today. He was taken to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
Police have registered a case of an accidental death, the official said, adding further investigation into the matter was underway.
