Body of missing student found in UP

The body of a Class 11 student, who was missing since July 29, was found in a village here today, police said.

The victim, identified as Harsh Kumar (16), was found near Saidpura village under the Charthawal police station area, they added.

A case was registered against unidentified miscreants and an investigation launched, Circle Officer Rizwan Ahmad said, adding that the body was sent for postmortem.

Meanwhile, irate villagers blocked the Rohana-Charthawal road for several hours demanding action against the accused after the body was discovered.
