Boy beaten by teacher

A 13-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by his teacher at a school in southeast Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin area, the police said.

The boy was thrashed by the teacher following a complaint from another student with whom the victim had a fight yesterday, they said.

The parent's of the student had asked the teacher to take strict action against the victim in the complaint note, the police said.

A case was registered on the basis of a police complaint lodged by the boy's father, they said.

The boy was medically examined and it was found that it was a abrasion on his back, the police said.
