Boy crushed to death by school bus

A nine-year-old boy standing on the pavement was today crushed to death by a private school bus at Fatehpur Kotwali in Sikar district, police said.

The deceased was identified as Gaurav Kumar Jangid, police said.

Furious residents blocked the highway and smashed glass panes of the bus. They tried to set the vehicle on fire, but police rushed to disperse the mob.

The bus driver was arrested for negligence driving.
