Boy dies in bomb blast

A four-year-old boy died today

when a crude bomb, which he mistook as ball, went off at Kaliachak in Malda district.

The police said Akash Mondal (4) died on the way to hosptial after suffering from the bomb injury at their home at Jotparam village.

His mother also sustained injury in the blast.

The boy's grandmother picked up the crude bomb from their mango grove believing it to be a ball.
