Britney Spears gives 66 pounds to homeless man

Pop star Britney Spears has reportedly given a homeless man 66 pounds after he asked her for help.

The 'Scream & Shout' hitmaker generously went to a cash machine to withdraw money for the street sleeper, but she started screaming as he went in for a hug, reported Daily Express.

The security staff immediately leapt to her rescue because they thought she was being mugged.

"This shabby-looking guy approached Britney outside the shop. He said to her: 'Please help me, I'm at the end of my rope. So she walked to a nearby cash machine and withdrew money and gave them to him," a source said.
 

"He was so taken aback and happy he jumped up and lunged at her for a big bear hug. Britney started screaming and within seconds the shop's security guards had run over," the source added.
