The bands of BSF and BGB today performed at the Agartala-Akhaura Integrated check post along the international border as a symbol of cordial relations between the two border guarding forces of India and Bangladesh during the ceremonial retreat.
The bands of the two forces started playing in full ceremonial regalia during lowering of their respective national flags.
Eight artistes from Bangladesh and four from India presented songs and dances.

Deputy Director General of BGB, Gazi Muhammad Hussainur Rehaman, and officiating DIG, BSF, Brajesh Kumar were present at the ceremony.
"This is a special joint band display during retreat to show cordial relation between the two border guards. This type of exercises help building confidences between the forces," Brajesh Kumar told reporters.
