A special POCSO court here today remanded a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel to 14 days judicial custody after he was arrested for allegedly molesting a minor girl at her residence here last night.
"Acting on a complaint we have arrested constable D Konwar last night," SP (City) Vivek Syiem told PTI.
He said the incident took place at around 6 PM yesterday when the BSF constable allegedly committed the crime at the residence of a 11-year-old girl in Nongrimmaw area.
A special court dealing with Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) today remanded Konwar to 14 days judicial custody.
