BSF recovers mortar shell from farmland in Samba

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel today recovered a mortar shell from an agriculture field along the Indo-Pak border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Puran Singh, a farmer, found the rusted mortar shell while working in his field in Chak Faqira belt of Samba district, BSF officials said.

He informed BSF about the shell after which personnel of central armed forces safely recovered and defused the shell, they said.
