BSNL official, son-in-law drowned in Ganga

The 51-year-old deputy director in BSNL, Ajay Kumar Singh, who had come here from Delhi, was taking a dip in the river near Swargashram yesterday when he was swept away in strong water current, police said.

When Singh's 30-year-old son-in-law went to his rescue, he was also swept away by a stream and drowned in the river.
