BSP leader, 21 others booked for trying to seize land

A former BSP district president and 21 others have been booked for allegedly trying to usurp land of a person here, police said today.

An FIR has been registered against former BSP district president Omprakash, corporator Rama Shankar and 20 others for trying to grab land of Sunil, resident of Uddaitpur, Incharge of Dehat police station Jamil Mohammad said.

The complainant alleged that Omprakash tried to seize his land by breaking a boundary wall with the help of his henchmen yesterday, they said.

Police is probing the matter. No arrests have so far been made in this connection.
