Businessman battered to death in Ghaziabad

A 28-year-old businessman was allegedly killed by five persons after a heated argument between them, police said today.

Rajiv Parmar, a sports shop owner had an argument with trader Manjit Gupta last night after which a group of five people battered the head of victim with a stick due to which he received serious injury, City Superintendent of police Ajay Pal Sharma.

On receiving information from family members of injured Rajeev the Vijay Nagar police reached the spot and rushed him to district government hospital where the attending doctors declared him brought dead.

Three out of five named accused for killing Parmar have been detained for interrogation, Sharma added.
 

Body has been sent for postmortem, officer said, adding all the named culprits will be nabbed soon.
