A Chennai-based businessman Friday allegedly committed suicide by jumping from his three-storeyed apartment here, police said.
He was declared brought dead by doctors of a nearby hospital.
The 48-year-old share market businessman sustained severe head injuries after he jumped from the terrace, police said.
"Suicide note says he took the extreme step because of losses in his business," police said, adding it did not specify the amount of loss he incurred.
