A businessman was shot dead in the commercial hub of Nagaland-Dimapur district, the police said today.
The victim was identified as Charlie Hangsing, who was shot on the head and chest from close range by three unidentified gunmen while returning from his shop late last night, they said.
The motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained, the police said adding, no arrest has been made but, investigation was on to nab the culprits.
