Hundreds of people here took out a candle march today against the terrorist attack on an army base in North Kashmir's Uri town in which 18 army personnel were killed.
People from different walks of life, including media persons, doctors, lawyers, academicians and traders, took part in the procession from Shiv Chowk through Khalapar to Bhagat Singh road and paid homage to jawans.
The march was led by district magistrate D K Singh and SSP Deepak Kumar and was jointly organised by police and media.
