Cardamom futures slide 0.27% on easing demand

Cardamom futures weakened by 0.27 per cent to Rs 1,506 per kg in futures market today as traders reduced exposure, driven by easing demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in February fell by Rs 4.10, or 0.27 per cent to Rs 1,506 per kg in business turnover of 1 lot.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
