Cardamom prices came down by 0.26 per cent to Rs 1,065 per kg in futures market today as speculators exited their positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April shed Rs 2.80, or 0.26 per cent to Rs 1,065 per kg in business turnover of 1 lot.
Traders said trimming of positions by participants owing to subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts mainly led to the decline in cardamom prices in futures trade.
