Cardamom prices edge higher on fall in supply

Cardamom brown prices increased by Rs 10 per kg at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today on rising demand from retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from producing regions.

Cardamom brown prices Jhundiwali and Kanchicut rose by Rs 10 each to conclude at RS 560-580 and Rs 610-910 per kg, respectively.

Marketmen said increased demand from retailers and stockists against low stocks, mainly pushed up cardamom brown prices higher.
