Castor seed prices rolled down by Rs 126 to Rs 4,254 per quintal in futures trade today as participants trimmed holdings in line with weak physical as well as overseas markets.
Market players attributed the fall to muted demand in spot markets from consuming industries amid persistent supplies.
Low export demand too had a negative impact, they added.
