Castorseeds futures end almost flat in listless trade

Castorseeds futures ended almost flat at the Vashi Oils and oilseeds wholesale markets here today amid listless activity on the back of subdued export enquiries.

In the futures section, castorseeds June contract resumed slightly higher at Rs 3,615 and moved in a range of Rs 3,630 and Rs 3,598 before finishing at Rs 3,608 from Rs 3,610 last weekend, showing a mere loss of Rs 2 per tonne.

Meanwhile, edible and non-edible oils rates were unavailable due to traders bandh in protest against the imposition of LBT (local body tax) by the government.
