Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Clean Media Foundation today jointly honoured Padma Shri awardees veteran journalist Balbir Dutt and folk singer Mukund Naik here.
They were honoured by Jharkhand Social Welfare Minister Louis Marandi, CCL CMD Gopal Singh, Khadi Board Chairman Sanjay Seth and Clean Media Foundation's chairman Prof Sudhakar Dixit.
Speaking on the occasion, Marandi said veteran journalist Dutt is a person of great wisdom.
On Mukund Naik, the minister said he has emerged as a great singer on his own effort and gave the state an identity, enthralling the people with his songs worldwide.
