Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today said the Centre will ensure full implementation of the Majithia wage board.
Addressing a press conference here, the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge) said even the Supreme Court's order has come on its implementation and he had written to all Chief Ministers to ensure its implementation in their respective states.
The Centre and the states have to file affidavits in the SC in connection with contempt petitions, he said, adding, the state governments were asked to ready their reports on status of the implementations in their states.
He also said the Centre would convene a meeting among the representatives of management, unions and government to reach a consensus on its implementation.
