Charas worth Rs 2.3 crore seized near Nepal border

Drugs worth Rs 2.3 crore has been seized from two persons here.

The accused were arrested yesterday by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) officials at the Raibojha border outpost while they were coming from Nepal side with 23 kg charas, SSB Inspector Devashish said today.

They were handed over to Rupaideeh Police, he said.

The seized drug is worth Rs 2.3 crore in the international market, he added.
