Chennai markets shut

All markets here, including Bullion, were closed today as a mark of respect to late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who passed away last night.

Besides the bullion market, oil seeds, the wholesale foodgrains and vegetable markets also remained closed.
