The Cherukuri Lenin-Volga memorial 8th Mini (13 years) National Archery Championship for boys and girls will be held here form January 31 to February 5, 2016.
The championship is being conducted by the Cherukuri Volga Archery Academy under the auspices of Archery Association of India, AP Archery Association, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association, its organising secretary Ch Satyanarayana told mediapersons here today.
Nearly 350 players from all over India will take part in the event, he said.
Every year, the Volga academy conducts the event in memory of Asian gold medallist and national archery coach late Cherukuri Lenin and national champion late Cherukuri Volga.
The teams and officials will arrive here on January 31 and the events will commence from February 1, he added.
