'Chief of Command' wins the Governor's Gold Cup

'Chief of Command' won the Governor's Gold Cup, the main event of the races here today.

The winner, owned by Dr MAM Ramaswamy Chettiar of Chettinad Charitable Trust, was ridden by Akshay Kumar and trained R Foley.

Foley trained four winners while jockeys Akshay Kumar and Ajit Kumar rode two winners each.

Four favourites obliged in a card of seven races.
