Chinese naval ships visit Vizag on goodwill tour

Two Chinese naval ships are on a visit to the Eastern Naval Command headquarters in Vishakhapatnam on a goodwill tour.

China's missile frigate Weifang, and a naval training vessel arrived in the port of Vishakhapatnam yesterday on a four-day visit, Chinese state-run Xinhua news agency reported today.

Their visit was in reciprocation to the visits of Indian naval ship INS Shivalik to China's Shanghai and Qingdao ports.

Shivalik took part in Chinese Navy's 65th founding anniversary celebrations in Qingdao last month.
